Hey Hey

First off, let me just say I'm alright :) - Sorry I've not been on top of zee blog the last week - been uber busy with life here in Mysore guys ;) but thanks for all the really caring emails! And just remember you can email me whenever you want to, not only when you start having withdrawals from your daily dose of 'heres the scoop' ;) Just kidding, but seriously though....

Guruji's Birthday was a blast...and so was the whole weekend ;) Went out with friends and danced the night away on Saturday. That's right, I said it, danced the NIGHT away ;) Literally....The music was so delicious I didn't stop moving for a good four hours ...Now thats my kinda night!

Now, now don't take offense to the photo's profanity, I am posting b/c I think its funny - so you should laugh too ;)

Now here is the scoop on today's practice: OMG can you say JUICY ;) Oh yeah, uh huh, that's right, ok ;) Simply delicious! BUT, I never would have imagined I would have one of the most intensiely euphoric practices of my entire life today given the way my morning started

I had gone out last night to see Hancock - YES - I too was like, "no way that flick is here in Mysore for lil ole me to go see - get outta here!" But its true and I went to enjoy a little American cinematic pleasure - You know its the little things that bring so much joy! Anyway, I got home late and got to bed late and - guess what - that's right - I woke up late too :( Don't know why but my alarm didn't go off this morning - so by the grace of Vishnu I woke up at 4:15am to go for a pee ;) and when I looked at the clock I jolted from the bed and rushed like nobodys business to get myself oriented and out the door. I felt as though I were completely out of touch with reality as I walked to the shala and realized I'd left the house naked!

Ok, I'm totally kidding about the naked part ;) HA....But I was not at all awake or ready for an intense second series yoga practice...That is until I got on my mat and started floating through never never land. Although I didn't have much sleep my body and mind were spot on focus and my sweat drenced body seemed to be dancing alone with my breathe for over 90 minutes of pure, blissful moving meditation. Oh you have no idea how incredibly amazing my entire practice felt...It's days like these that make everything else so worthwhile. I hope that you too will enjoy a phenomenal practice next time you step on your mat!

Ta ta for now ;)

Pretty much everyone I’ve grown close to in Mysore this year will be leaving this week or the beginning of next…I’ll have a little over a week here all by myself…Makes me sad…Erin leaves this week and Maureen will leave next week. Not too many other people left now – will be sad to say goodbyes but hopefully they are just, “see you laters.” I too am really getting ready to go home. The last week or so has been a lot of mental preparation for my upcoming return home – a little over two weeks left. I’m really excited but also a bit sad – natural I know but interesting nonetheless. But as I sit here and think about arriving in the Orlando International airport, getting home to my clean house, seeing and touching my things again, eating lots of foods I’ve missed for quite some time, sleeping in my bed, riding my bike, driving my car, seeing all my friends, and getting back into my life routine, I have a big smile on my face. Mysore is most certainly my second home – but Orlando is my first – and I do miss her right now.

I feel like I have a lot to do before I leave, and I have time but part of me wants to make sure to take care of all the little details now so I can just sit back and relax my last few days here…Need to get on top of that…Today will prove to be another pretty full day, but full of life in Mysore type stuff – need to make time this week for lots of little errands and emails to set myself to go home. Sounds kinda strange – going home. Oh, I hate that I’ll be missing Halloween this year – but luckily I’ll home for Thanksgiving – ah, thanksgiving feast – nothing in the world like it. Can’t believe this year is almost over – where in the world did 2007 go?
