Happy Moon Day! I personally slept in til 8 this morning and I must admit it was quite glorious! Once I got up I finished doing yet more laundry before having a lovely shower. Been reading the last few hours and soon will head off to Anu’s to upload this blog entry for all to read. I have dance soon too – and I can’t wait. I’m really gonna miss Sindhu when I got home – but plan to continue doing Odissi – only on my own til I return to India next year. I figure if I can dedicate 45 minutes to an hour about four days per week practicing what she’s taught me, I should be able to come back next May and pretty much start back where we left off. Odissi dancing is most definitely something I’d like to keep a part of my life from here on out, much like my yoga practice. And while it won’t be nearly the same without Sindhu – I do my yoga practice alone back home, so I know it wont’ be a problem to keep up with the practice. Makes me a little sad though to think that I won’t get to go to dance class each day with Sindhu when I leave – oh well, all good things must come to an end at some point – but the good news is that its only for a short time – I truly hope to study with her each year when I come to continue my yoga studies!
